The Jets

A reaction plane, sometimes called jet, is a means of transport (air vehicle, see aircraft) propelled by jet engines. The jets were a leap in aviation, commercial and military, of the great advantages in performance and driveability you can, not so much in consumption so that early XXI century had lost some ground on turboprop aircraft .

The reaction aviation revolutionized the aviation as big as the invention of the aircraft itself by allowing higher altitude flights and, therefore, greater autonomy, open the door to supersonic and hypersonic aircraft, allowed to increase with increasing power speed, develop nonstop intercontinental routes or a new generation of fighters, among others.
